Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent respondent to issue TSLR record in favour of the joint owners of the property situated at New Door No.41, Old Door No.46 (as per Sale deed Doc.No.3230/1964 it is door No.10) East Park Road, Shenoy Nagar, Chennai-600 030 at Plot No.27 of the sanctioned L.I.G.Housing scheme of the corporation of Madras, comprised in Survey Nos.13, 39 and 40/3 parts, Block No.7, Aminjikarai Taluk, Aminjikarai village, situated within the Sub Registration District of Anna nagar and Registration District of chennai central, pursuant to the proceedings in the petitioner's Application dated 29.09.2023 based on the reports of the 5th and 6th respondents documentary records, enquiries conducted and lawful possession. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to issue the TSLR record in favour of the joint owners of the property situated at New Door No.41, Old Door No.46 (described as Door No.10 in Sale deed bearing Document No.3230 of 1964), East Park Road, Shenoy Nagar, Chennai- 600 030, being Plot No.27 of the sanctioned L.I.G.Housing scheme of the Corporation of Madras, comprised in Survey Nos.13, 39 and 40/3 parts, Block No.7, Aminjikarai Taluk, Aminjikarai Village, within the Sub Registration District of Anna Nagar and Registration District of Chennai Central, pursuant to the proceedings in the petitioner's Application dated 29.09.2023, based on the reports of the 5th and 6th respondents documentary records, enquiry conducted and the petitioner's lawful possession.

2. Heard, Mr.S.Karthi Varun, Party-in-person and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. Perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the fourth respondent 3/6

has already called for a report from the fifth respondent. However, till date, the fifth respondent has not submitted any report.

4. In view of the above, fifth respondent is directed to submit a report, as called for in the communication dated 28.02.2025 on the file of the fourth respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such report, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders on the application submitted by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
