ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent herein to receive the application of the petitioner dated

19.08.2024 in Form CCPA along with the prescribed fee through online for the grant of Auto Rickshaw Permit to operate the vehicle within radius of 30 K.M. distance from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem District and to consider the same.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The issue involved in the present writ petition was dealt within the earlier writ petition in W.P.No.9394 of 2024 dated 10.04.2024. This Court, after considering the earlier order passed in this regard, issued direction to the concerned Regional Passport Officer. Similar orders can also be issued in the present case, since, the said order will ensure to the benefit of the petitioner also.

4. In the result, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 19.08.2024 in form CCPA along with the prescribed fee paid by the petitioner through online for the grant of Auto rickshaw permit and

consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
