ORDER

The contempt petition was filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.910 of 2024 dated 29.012024, was not complied with.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the affidavit of the respondent was filed and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder: 9.It is respectfully submitted that after completion of elaborate and detailed investigation, then inspector conclude the investigation and filed final report before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai through E-filing vide LTN20230001578C202400045 and the same was taken on file and assigned S.R.No.40728 of 2024, dated 20.05.2024. 3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, to act upon the police report filed by the respondent in Crime No.376/2023, within a period of four weeks. 4.This contempt petition is disposed of accordingly. 18.10.2024 Index: Yes/No KP
