Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to enquire on petitioner's complaint dated 20.06.2024 and to proceed in accordance with law.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the first respondent to enquire into the petitioner's complaint dated 20.06.2024 and to proceed in accordance with law.

2. On perusal of the complaint and after hearing Mr.M.R.Thangavel, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, it can be seen that the petitioner has given a complaint with reference to demands for mamool by persons in charge of the local depot/Depot Managers, in connivance with other officials, manipulating the timings of the buses depending on whether the person pays mamool or not.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner's complaint dated 20.06.2024 has been forwarded to the 2/5

Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Kumbakonam and Salem for their comments and basic facts. After receipt of their report, action in accordance with law will be taken.

4. The respective authorities are directed to provide their factual inputs to the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and further action in accordance with law shall be taken within four weeks thereafter.
