Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order of the respondent no-2 refused to give true information and gave false information Letter Na.Ka. A6/ 3048/ 23 dated on 22-05- 2024 under right to information act and quash same and direct the 2nd respondent to should be furnish with the true information under the Right to Information Act.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the information served on the petitioner by the second respondent herein as false information dated 22.05.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner submitted an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005, before the third respondent. The third respondent passed an order, and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent. As against the order passed by the second respondent, the petitioner preferred a second appeal before the first respondent. Pending the second appeal, the petitioner approached this Court in W.P.No. 7861 of 2024 and as directed by this Court, by an order dated 25.03.2024, the first respondent, by an order
dated 24.04.2024, disposed of the appeal and directed the Public Information Officer to submit a report on or before 27.05.2024, failing which, action would be taken under the Right to Information Act, 2005. Accordingly, the petitioner was informed about the information sought for by him. Now, the petitioner submitted that the information furnished him as false.

A perusal of the report submitted by the second respondent reveals that the subject land was surveyed and sub-divided in Block No.6 into two blocks, initially assigned serial numbers 6 and 6A tentatively. The said block numbers have now been clarified as 6 and 7. Accordingly, Block No.7 is designated for house site.
5. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the information furnished by the second respondent. Therefore, the writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed.
