By this miscellaneous petition, the petitioner seeks amendments in specific paragraphs of the writ petition and in the prayer. 2.A counter affidavit has been filed by the 3rd respondent on behalf of the respondents. The principal objection therein is that the miscellaneous petition seeks amendments pursuant to order dated 13.02.2013, which was communicated to the petitioner on 04.03.2013. Consequently, it is submitted by the respondents that the reliefs claimed by way of amendments are liable to be rejected on the ground of laches. 3.In these circumstances, W.M.P.No.5461 of 2022 is allowed by keeping open the respondents' contention with regard to laches. Such contention shall be considered while disposing of the main writ petition. 4.The Registry is directed to carry out the amendments in the writ petition on or before 10.01.2025. An amended copy of the petition shall be served on the respondents within a week from then. The Registry is further directed to print the name of Mr.C.Ramkumar, learned standing 2/4

counsel, for TANGEDCO. Meanwhile, the respondents are directed to file a counter in the main writ petition.

5.List the writ petition on 23.01.2025.
