Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to issue a direction to the third respondent to take immediate action on the petition dated 21.04.2013 as evidenced from the letter of the 3rd respondent dated 16.07.2013 as mentioned in his petition dated 21.4.2013 by conducting a detailed enquiry against all the persons who have involved in the above fraud causing loss to the Government amount to several lakhs of rupees and irreparable loss to the Village Administration.

This petition has been filed to issue a direction to the third respondent to take immediate action on the petition dated 21.04.2013, as evidenced from the letter of the 3rd

respondent dated 16.07.2013 as mentioned in his petition dated 21.4.2013 by conducting a detailed enquiry against all the persons who were involved in the fraud causing loss to the Government amounting to several lakhs of rupees and irreparable loss to the Village Administration.

2. Heard the petitioner [party-in-person] and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The party-in-person claims to be a public spirited person and is said to belong to AIADMK party. He has given a representation to the authorities alleging some irregularities in the selection to the post of Village Administrative Officer that was held in the year 2008. It is alleged by the petitioner that one person by name Pandiaraj has been selected as Village Administrative Officer and he is a history sheeted rowdy.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Ms.K.Meena, Additional Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, has filed a counter affidavit, wherein it is stated that the representation given by the petitioner has been sent to the Government and the Government has forwarded the same to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for taking necessary action. Recording the above, this petition is closed.
