ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Alleging that the order dated 26.10.2016 made in W.P.No.37544 of 2016 has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with. A compliance report has been filed on behalf the respondents, wherein in clause G, it has been stated as under:

(G) Finally, amid the appeals of the encroachers were pending before the Deputy Secretary to Government, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Land Disposal Wing, Chennai, but on compliance to the orders of the Honourable Court, the Tahsildar, Modakurichi Taluk along with officials concerned emerged on the contentious land bearing R.S.No.11/1 and removed all the encroachments on 04.02.2019. Now there are no encroachments by individuals in the contentious land.

3.In such view of the matter, the contempt petition stands closed.
