The petitioner, who is the sole accused, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 02.02.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Section 6 of POCSO Act, 2012 in Crime No.179 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner by giving false promise to marry the defacto complainant's daughter had physical relationship with her and made her pregnant and thereafter, terminated the pregnancy and now, he refused to marry her.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is a case of love affair and the petitioner is ready to marry the alleged victim on attaining her majority. The learned counsel for the petitioner filed an affidavit to that effect.

4. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent submitted that after registration of the case, the respondent police obtained a statement from the victim under Section 161 Cr.P.C., in which, she has implicated the accused and subsequently, statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., she has not referred about the offence committed by the accused. He further submitted that the investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed.

rrg 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering fact that the investigation has been completed, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, with certain conditions. 6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Puducherry, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders. 27.04.2016 rrg Crl.O.P.No.8074 of 2016
