This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C praying to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of arrest in connection with the above said Crime No.92 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Chennai.

Mr.L.Baskaran Government Advocate (Crl.Side) COMMON ORDER Today, when theses criminal original petitions were taken up for hearing, Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent(s) submitted that based on a complaint given by Athinarayanan Subramanian alias Shiva (petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.23229 of 2017), FIR was registered in Crime No.92 of 2017 against seven accused viz., 1.J.K.Rithesh (A-1) 2.Jotheeswari (A-2) 3.Naganathar Sethupathi (A-3) 2/5

4.Nagendiran (A-4) 5.Basheer @ Actor Vaali @ Vijayakarthik (A-5) 6.Suresh Kannan (A-6) & 7.Muralidharan (A-7). During the pendency of investigation in Crime No.92 of 2017, A-6 (Suresh Kannan) filed an Anticipatory Bail Petition in Crl.O.P.No.15917 of 2018 before this Court. On 02.07.2018, this Court granted interim anticipatory bail to Suresh Kannan (A-6) and thereafter, this Court vide order dated 11.07.2018, extended the said order of interim anticipatory bail till 25.07.2018. He further submitted that after the completion of investigation in Crime No.92 of 2017, the police filed the Final Report before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate for exclusive trial of CCB Cases (relating to cheating cases in Chennai) and CBCID Metro Cases Court, Egmore, Chennai and the said Final Report was taken on file in C.C.No.4779 of 2022.

2. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), these Criminal Original Petitions are closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 22.08.2023 mrr Index: Yes/No 3/5
