This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of suspension passed by the respondent in No.A4/E-2043344/2024 dated 16.05.2024.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

3.The case of the petitioner is that she joined Government service in the year 2012 as Junior Assistant and ultimately she reached the position of Tahsildar. An FIR came to be registered in Crime No.1 of 2024 in which the petitioner was arrayed as an accused. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner was placed under suspension by the respondent through proceedings dated 16.05.2024.

4.The main grievance that was expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that till date, no charge memo has been issued and the petitioner has not even been paid subsistence allowance and the representations made by the petitioner seeking for revocation of the order of suspension has not even been considered by the respondent. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the various materials that have been placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the representation made 2/4

by the petitioner on 31.07.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the request made by the petitioner for revocation of the order of suspension within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that whatever subsistence allowance to which the petitioner is entitled to shall be paid forthwith to the petitioner before final orders are passed in the representation made by the petitioner.

6.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

7.In the result, this writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs..
