ORDER

The petitioner who retired as a Copyist in the Registration Department under the Government of Puducherry. He has now filed Writ Petition challenging the order dated 11.04.2022 and to grant all terminal benefits including gratuity and pension by regularizing the period of suspension.

2. The petitioner is a Government Servant of the Union Territory of Puducherry and therefore he has to approach the appropriate forum namely the Central Administrative Tribunal.

3. The writ petition is filed directly before this Court is not maintainable.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has earlier filed writ petition in W.P.No.16357 of 2021 dated 10.08.2021, in which, the direction was passed to consider his representation. That may be Page No. 2 of 5

so, it will not grant any right and neither the judgment will be a binding precedent for the proposition that the petitioner can approach this Court directly. Therefore, when the Puducherry Government Service is a service covered under Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunal Act, 1985, the petitioner has to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal.
