The petitioner is A1 and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.03.2016 for the alleged offences punishable under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC, in Crime No. 682 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners 1 to 3 have approached the accused Nos. 4 and 5, who are running press, to get fake driving licences in their name in order to avail loan from the de-facto complainant, viz., Bajaj Finance Ltd. It is further alleged that based on the fake certificates, the accused Nos. 1 to 3 have purchased Apple i phones.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely roped in this case. It is further submitted that after arresting the petitioner, the respondent has seized i phones.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the accused Nos. 2 and 3 are still at large and the petitioner has no bad antecedents and at the time

vsg of availing loan, the petitioner had produced fake certificates and issued cheque from his account. It is further submitted that the co-accused viz., Accused Nos. 4 and 5 were granted bail by the Sessions Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, at Allikulam, Chennai-3 and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders.
