.. Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for contempt of court under Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 27.3.2024 passed in W.P.No.33769 of 2022.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Pursuant to our order dated 22nd October, 2024, the present Commissioner, Mr.Ranjeet Singh, is present in Court and is identified by Ms.N.Devi, counsel for first respondent. The said Ranjeet Singh has filed an affidavit dated 24th October, 2024 tendering apology for not obeying the orders within the time as directed by the Court and also for not approaching the Court to extend the time. It is stated in the affidavit that the encroachment has been removed on 23rd October, 2024. A status report,

affirmed on 24th October, 2024, is also filed by the said Ranjeet Singh. Album containing various photographs has been perused and returned to the said Ranjeet Singh.

2. Counsel for petitioner confirms the encroachment has been removed.

3. The statement of the said Ranjeet Singh that if there are any problems in implementing the directions given by the Court he shall promptly approach the Court and seek extension, is also accepted.

4. Contempt petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
