ORDER
This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 24.05.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.13959 of 2024h, thereby clarified that the petitioner, who has not received compensation, is entitled for compensation under the New Act for the land acquired from him.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that aggrieved by the order passed by this Court dated 24.05.2024, the respondents filed a writ appeal in W.A.No.725 of 2025 and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court has granted an interim stay in C.M.P.No.6148 of 2025, by an order dated 17.03.2025. 3.
In view of the above submission, at present, the Contempt Petition stands closed. The petitioner is at liberty to revive the contempt petition subject to the result of the Writ Appeal. 10.09.2025 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order rts
