Prayer : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.0220/A2/2016 dated 24.02.2017 and to quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to continue in the post of Headmaster in the 3rd Respondent School by granting regular promotion as well as approval of promotion from 01/06/2013 onwards with all consequential and other attendant benefits. ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.0220/A2/2016 dated 24.02.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to continue in the post of Headmaster in the 3rd Respondent School by granting regular 2/5
promotion as well as approval of promotion from 01.06.2013 onwards with all consequential and other attendant benefits.
2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 made a submission that the impugned order dated 24.02.2017 has already been recalled by the Department. Thus, the cause did not exists. That apart, the writ petitioner has already attained the age of Superannuation on 31.03.2020 and allowed to retire from service.
3. Thus, no further adjudication is required and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
