On the complaint given by the owner of the land/principal against this petitioner alleging that after cancel of the power of attorney in the year 2007, fake life certificate been obtained and the property sold 1/4

03.06.2024, complaint been registered by the police and the petitioner was summoned to participate in the enquiry. In spite of participating in the enquiry, the present petition is filed alleging that the police is harassing under the guise of investigation.

The nature of the complaint against the petitioner appears to be very grave in nature and therefore, proper investigation is required. For the said purpose, police has summoned the petitioner to come and participate, to explain how the transaction took place on the strength of power of attorney cancelled long back. This cannot be considered as harassment by the police. Hence this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
