ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 18.04.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.5574 of 2019, thereby directed the respondents to initiate appropriate proceedings as contemplated under Section 78 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act.

The learned Additional Government Pleader (HR & CE) appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondents initiated proceedings under Section 78 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act in M.P.No.100 of 2024/E1 dated 15.11.2024, to remove the encroachment in the temple property. He also produced a copy of the proceedings dated 15.11.2024 before this Court. 3.

Recording the above submission, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
