Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the third respondent 06.08.2024 in C3.D.O.No.41/2024 against the petitioner's husband Shanmugam, Male, aged 57 years S/o. Natesan, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.347, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department dated 20.09.2024.
Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
