Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for his wilful disobedience of the order dated 01.08.2024 passed in Crl.RC.No.2020 of 2023. O R D E R

Complaining that the order dated 01.08.2024 has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. The respondent / Contemnor appeared before this Court. The 1/4

balance amount to be paid is only Rs.1,52,000/- and the same has to be paid by three instalments, including the maintenance amount of Rs.15,000/- on or before 5th of every English calendar month i.e., 05.11.2025, 05.12.2025 & 05.01.2026.

3.Apart from this Contempt Petition, the respondent filed an Execution Petition before the Trial court. Such a dual petition is not permissible. The contemnor is ready to pay Rs.1,52,000/- including Rs.15,000/- monthly maintenance amount on or before 05.01.2026. On payment of the entire amount, the Trial Court is directed to dispose of the maintenance case within a period of three months, after providing opportunity to the petitioner / husband and the respondent / contemmnor.
