The petitioner herein is an accused in S.T.C.No.36 of 2024 on the file of FTC Judicial Magisterial Level, Thiruvannamalai on the health ground, the present petition is filed to transfer the case from Thiruvannamalai to Chennai. The reasons stated for transfer of trial from one sessions jurisdiction to another jurisdiction is not tenable. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 1/3

If the petitioner is physically unable to attend the court, it is always open to him to file petition to dispense with his personal appearance or being a summary trial case, he can authorize person giving special vakalat to appear on his behalf.
