By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his representation dated 24.11.2023 for issue of online patta for his property situated in Plot No.41, V.G.P.Shanthi Nagar Part - IV, LPD:ili/DDTP No.73/75, comprised in Survey No.623/2 part, Patta No.8805, (Old No.119, New No.42), Pallikkaranai earlier Tambaram Taluk presently Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the subject property from one N.Ravichandran under a registered Sale Deed dated 06.10.2003 bearing Document No.4534/2003 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, 2/6

Saidapet. Thereafter, he submitted a representation dated 24.11.2023 to the Deputy Tahsildar, Sholinganallur Taluk, seeking issue of online pttta. It is also stated by the petitioner that manual patta was already issued in his name and now, he seeks issue of online patta alone. However, the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that the Competent Authority to consider the representation of the petitioner is Tahsildar, Sholinganallur Taluk and he has not been arrayed as a party respondent in the present writ petition. The learned Additional Government Pleader further submitted that for issue of online patta, the petitioner has to make an online application before the Competent Authority.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner to submit an online application before the Competent Authority 3/6

seeking online patta for his property, within a period of two weeks form the date of receipt of copy of this order. On such online application made by the petitioner, the Competent Authority namely Tahsildar, Sholinganallur Taluk, is directed to consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of such online application.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
