(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Habeas Corpus has been instituted to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to produce petitioner's father namely Mr.Rajaraman, aged about 72 years.

2. The 2nd respondent, Inspector of Police, Lawspet Police Station, Puducherry produced the detenu, who is aged 72 years. Both the petitioner and her brother 3rd respondent are also present. We have examined the detenu. The detenu in clear terms states that he is willing to live with the 3rd respondent in his home. The 3rd respondent also states that there is no impediment for the petitioner to visit the father. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to meet her father in the place of the 3rd respondent, if her father permits for such visit.

3. The detenu in clear terms deposed before this Court that he is not willing to reside with the petitioner. That being the decision taken by the detenu, we found that he is not in illegal detention. Consequently, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of.
