The Petitioner, who apprehend arrests at the hands of the Respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 & 506(i) IPC in Crime No.unknown of 2023 on the file of the Respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner, learned counsel for the Intervener and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side). 3.Considering the facts and circumstances, the Petitioner and the Intervener are directed to appear before the Investigating Officer and produce the necessary documents for investigation and the Investigating Officer shall complete the enquiry by strictly following the procedures therein and if any prima facie case is made out against the Petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of six weeks from today. The parties are directed to cooperate with the enquiry. It is needless to say that the respondent police shall not take any coercive steps to secure the Accused till the completion of enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the Defacto Complainant. 4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with liberty to the Petitioner to approach this Court for appropriate relief, if necessity arises. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
