ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, to call for the records in C.C.No.30 of 2014 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the complaint against the petitioner was filed by the City Public Prosecutor pursuant to a G.O.Ms.No.692 issued by the Public (Law and Order-H) Department dated 23.07.2014. He would further submit that subsequently, the Government by G.O.Ms.No.555 Public (Law and Order-H) Department dated 10.08.2021 had directed the City Public Prosecutor, Principal Sessions Court, Chennai to file withdrawal petition under Section 321 of Cr.P.C. Based on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

subsequent Government Order, the withdrawal petition in Crl.M.P.No.15196 of 2021 was filed before the Court of Sessions at Chennai and the learned Sessions Judge by order dated 03.09.2021, has closed the case as withdrawn. The learned counsel would further submit that this case may be dismissed as infructuous.

3. In view of the withdrawal of the complaint, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. This Criminal Original Petition is closed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
