This application has been filed to modify the condition that the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- each as non-refundable deposit to the credit of District Revenue Officer, Cuddalore District, and produce the receipt of the same before the concerned learned Magistrate at the time of execution of bond imposed in Crl.O.P.No.23788 of 2022 dated 06.10.2022.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in order to comply with the condition, the petitioners went to the office of the District Revenue Officer, Cuddalore District for depositing the amount. However, the District Revenue Officer refused to receive the same. Thereafter, he acceded to receive the amount. Therefore, there was a delay in depositing the said amount. Hence, he seeks further period of two weeks time for executing the sureties and comply with the conditions.
3.Considering the submission made, this petition is ordered and further period of two weeks time is granted to the petitioners to surrender and execute sureties before the concerned Magistrate as imposed by this Court, from the date on which the order copy made ready.
