ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking to call for the records in connection with crime no.3261 of 2014 and quash the same pending on the file of the E-4, Abiramapuram Police Station.

2.Today the petitioners 1 and 2 and the second respondent along with their respective counsel are present. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is also present. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The second respondent/ defacto complainant would submit that even though case has been registered on the basis of the complaint given by him for the offence punishable under Sections 448, 454, 380 and 506(i) of I.P.C., now on the intervention of the elders, the matter has been settled. Hence, he has no objection for quashing the F.I.R. against the petitioners. He has also filed an affidavit to that effect.

4.Recording the submissions made by the second respondent and also the affidavit filed by the second respondent, the F.I.R. in Crime No.3261 of 2014 is hereby quashed. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
