O R D E R

By order dated 14.06.2017, this Court in W.M.P.No.16156 of 2017 in W.P.No.14915 of 2017, granted an order of interim injunction and granted four weeks time to the respondent to file counter. Subsequent to the passing of the order of injunction, the petitioner has filed the Contempt Petition stating that the respondent had disobeyed the order of this Court by giving signal to P.Sathasivam and that the said person is disturbing the petitioner's area in violation of the order of injunction. The respondent

filed her counter wherein she has stated that the said Sathasivam secured Operator Registration No.11483 from the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation during September 2011 to provide cable services to the area of Veerappanchatiram. Further, the respondent has stated that from January 2015, the Registration Number was revised as LCO No.48723 and that the said person is continuing his operations.

2.The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the registration was done even prior to the filing of the present Contempt Petition and therefore, the Contempt Petition has to be closed. 3.Since the issue involved in the present Contempt Petition is the subject matter of the Writ Petition, I do not find any reason to keep the Contempt Petition pending. However, it is open to the petitioner to canvass all the issues in the Writ Petition, which is pending before this Court.
