By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass order on the petitioners representations dated 06.05.2025 and 01.07.2025 with regard to settle all the retirement and pensionary benefits to the petitioner within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has joined in the service of the Respondents-Transport Corporation as Junior Trades Man on 29.04.1987 and he was promoted as Assistance Trades Man and further promoted to the post of Foreman and on attaining the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 31.05.2024. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has sent a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 01.07.2025 claiming terminal benefits and such representation is pending with them. It is the submission of the petitioner that due pendency of some criminal proceedings, the respondents delayed in paying his terminal benefits. However, the criminal proceeding was dropped as against the petitioner vide order dated 03.05.2025. Hence, prayed to issue a direction to settle the terminal benefits.
5. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation according to it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 06.08.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 4/6
