2. Mr.Edwin Prabhakar, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents has no objection for condoning the delay.

3. We are satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the above petition. Hence, the delay is condoned.

4. The petition is ordered. It is made clear that the appellants/claimants are not entitled to claim interest for the period of 624 days.
