ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider and take action on the representations of the petitioner dated 05/10/2015 & 08/01/2016 made for the purpose of issuance of Patta to the
136 plots which is registered on 136 employees in the name of SCC antony Pillai Nagar Welfare Association of total land 10.07 acres of land situated at Nellikuppam Municipality, Kamarajar Nagar, Survey No on 1995 as 65/7A2 65/9 65/6 65/5 65/7B 65/1 65/8 65/7A1 65/3 65/4 68/1 68/2 within a stipulated time frame in accordance with law.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner, a registered Association for the employees of Parry (India) Limited, purchased a land to an extent of 10.07 acres in various survey numbers at Nillikuppam Municipality, Kamarajar Nagar and divided the same into 136 plots and registered the same in the names of their 136 members, and also applied for pattas for the same. In this regard, the petitioner-association had submitted two representations on 5.10.2015 and 8.1.2016 and since, there was no response for the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh copy of the representation alongwith a copy of this order to the second respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on such receipt of the representation, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
