O R D E R

(Order of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The Contempt complained of is non-payment of the compensation determined by this Court in the regular Appeal filed under Section 96 read with Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act. The decree determining compensation is an executable decree. Non-payment of money due under a decree cannot be construed as contempt.

2. Hence the contempt petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to seek execution of the decree.
