The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner had made a representation dated 08.06.2023 before the second respondent to survey his land and he had also paid necessary fees as contemplated under the Rules. Since, the petitioner had not received any response from the second respondent, he made another representation on 01.09.2023 to the respondents to survey his land. However, till now, the petitioner has not received any communication

from the concerned Department as to whether the land would be surveyed or when it would be surveyed. Hence, the petitioner was compelled to file the present Writ Petition.

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take steps to survey his land as contemplated under the Rules within a period of one month and file a compliance report before this Court on or before 01.11.2023.

5. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. There shall be no order as to costs.
