The grievances of the petitioner is that there is no effective progress in the investigation and therefore seeks to transfer the investigation.

In my view, such a ground may not be appropriate for having the investigation transfer. Nevertheless, if the investigation is directed to be monitored by the superior officer, the ends of justice could be secured. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In the light of the above observations, the 3rd respondent herein shall endeavour to complete the investigation in Crime No.531 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible, such investigation shall be monitored by the Superintendent of Police, Villupuram District on a day to day basis. This Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
