O R D E R
This Civil Revision Petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.P.No.6 of 2022 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Ambattur.
2. When the revision came up for admission, I called for a report from the learned Subordinate Judge, Ambattur, as to how long he requires to dispose of the said Original Petition. The learned Subordinate Judge has sent a
report stating that he has taken charge only on 18.09.2024. He also points out that there are 830 cases which are more than 5 years old.
3. Mr.S.R.Karthikeyan, points out that O.P.No.6 of 2022 also comes under more than 5 years old case. The proceedings had been initiated as early as 2019 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee. It has been numbered as O.P.No.309 of 2019. Thereafter, it stood transferred to the file of the Subordinate Court, Ambattur.
4. Taking into consideration the pendency before the learned Subordinate Judge, Ambattur, there shall be a direction to the learned Judge to dispose of the O.P.No.6 of 2022 within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
