ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 177 of 2011 on the file of the Respondent Police and quash the same.

2. It is seen that already the petitioner filed a petition to quash the FIR in Crime No. 171 of 2011 in Crl.O.P.No.3640 of 2016 and the same was dismissed by an order dated 22.06.2016. While dismissing the quash petition, this Court directed the respondent Police to complete the investigation within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Now, the petitioner filed a petition to quash the FIR only on the ground that even after direction given by this Court, the respondent did not complete the investigation. This petition cannot be considered now, since the quash petition was already dismissed. However, since the respondent has not complied with the order passed by this Court, the petitioner can very well file a contempt petition.

3. This Court cannot entertain the quash petition on the very same ground. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
