PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, praying to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.No.17780 of 2018, dated 22.09.2021. ORDER

The contempt petition is filed seeking to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of Court for disobeying the orders of this Court passed in W.P.No.17780 of 2018, dated 22.09.2021.

2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that, pursuant to the order of the Writ Court, the petitioner had participated in the subsequent selection process and was selected for the post of P.G. Assistant.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is satisfied with the subsequent selection and therefore, she is not pressing the contempt petition.

4. By taking note of the fact that the grievance of the petitioner has been met, the disobedience alleged against the respondents need not be termed to be willful in nature. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
