The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506(ii) of I.P.C, in Crime No.581 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the grand-mother of the defacto complainant had given a complaint against the petitioner herein that he had abused and also threatened her to divide the property. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent. He has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant to anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that due to property dispute, the petitioner abused and threatened the de-facto complainant. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.
