No.3687 of 2017 dated 09.10.2017 on the file of the first respondent, within a time frame limit in accordance with the law.

Limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition, is for a direction to the first respondent to expedite the proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C. It is stated that the enquiry conducted by the first respondent is pending from 09.10.2017. In view of the pendency for more than 2 years, it would be appropriate to stipulate a time limit for completion of the proceedings.

In the light of the above observation, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to expedite the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3687 of 2017 dated 09.10.2017, on the file of the first respondent herein within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent before taking a final conclusion shall provide due opportunity to the petitioner as well as the second respondent herein and also to any other person involved in the enquiry.
