ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to alter penal provisions in Cr.No.686 of 2022 suiting to the materials available and the allegations made by the petitioner in her complaint and make an enquiry and to file additional fresh FIR and to file a final report according to law.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that it is up to the petitioner to appear before the 2nd respondent police to produce whatever material she is having in her hands and if the investigation officer is satisfied, he will do the needful to alter the provisions.
3. Since the investigation is in midway, the petitioner is at liberty to give her additional statement and may produce any materials available with her in order to help the investigation and to complete it early. In this case, the 2nd respondent is also expected to do the needful on the basis of the
materials available and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
