The anticipatory bail petition is not maintainable in view of the statutory embargo under Section 15(A) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioners are at liberty to surrender before the jurisdictional Court and seek regular bail in accordance with law and if any such application is filed, the same shall be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law, preferably on the same day. It is further made clear that the investigating agency shall proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and complete the same as expeditiously as possible. 18.08.2025 bsm Note :
