ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 29(1) of

NDPS Act in Crime No. 152 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the persecution is that on 10-06-2025, based on specific information, when the police party went on patrol near KK Road graveyard, three persons were found in suspicious behaviour and when the police tried to apprehend them, two of them fleeded. From the remaining persons namely Vanavarayan and Dhanush Raj, 1 kg 840 grams of ganja seized. Based on the information given by the persons arrested, the name of the other two accused , came to light. This petitioner is one among them, now seeks anticipatory bail.

3. Considering the nature of the offences and the conduct of the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 12-08-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes nr
