This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.225/2013 dated 09.06.2013 .

2. The petitioner is the Proprietor of "Sree Ganga Transports Petrol Bunk"at Vallapuram. On 3.6.2013, the Manager Mr.Mahendran informed the petitioner that one Mr.Praveen who was the sales person in the petrol Bunk absconded with an amount of Rs.1,15,791/- from the cash box of the petrol bunk. Hence, the said Mahendran lodged a complaint against Mr.Praveen before the respondent police on 09.06.2013 which was registered under section 381 of IPC in Crime No.225/2013. But till date,there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.625/2014 and file a final report as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
