This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Fast Track Court III Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, to dispose the case in C.C.No.923 of 2020.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a private complaint against the respondent for the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. Though the case was taken on file in the year 2020, it has been pending for two years without disposal and hence, a direction should be given. 3.

On perusal of records, it is reliably learnt that the examination of witnesses had been completed and the matter stands posted for 313 Cr.P.C. proceedings. In such case, there is a possibility for completing the case shortly. However taking into consideration of the representation made by the petitioner, the learned Fast Track Court III Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, is directed to dispose the case in C.C.No.923 of 2020 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
