ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 194 of BNS/174 of Cr.P.C @ 306 of IPC/108 of IPC in Crime No.278 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent police that FIR was registered under Section194 of BNS/174 of Cr.P.C, and the same is yet to be altered and hence, so far this case is under investigation for suspicious death. Hence, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to renew the petition, after alteration if any made by the respondent police.
