ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 89 of 2017 on the file the Judicial Magistrate-I.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already trial has been commenced and prosecution witnesses have examined PW1 to PW5 and posted for further evidence. Therefore, after commencing the trial, at this stage, the quash petition cannot be entertained. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chidambaram is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
