ORDER
This writ petition is filed challenging the order dated 8/5/2025, made in Na.Ka.No.07/PM/ASP/Prohibition/Tiruppur/2025 on the file of the Additional Superintendent of Police, Prohibition and Enforcement wing, Tiruppur District 2.Upon perusal of the order, the same is an order of confiscation that is passed under Section 14 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act 1937. As against the said order under Section 14(5), there is an appellate remedy available to the petitioner to file an appeal to the Court of Session having jurisdiction. 3.The learned counsel would submit the original order is filed in these proceedings, and the respondents may also take immediate action. 4.The said grievances can be redressed by ordering the Registry to return the original order so as to enable the petitioner to seek any interim order in this
regard. The respondent is also restrained up to 14/8/2025 from taking any further coercive action.
5.In view thereof, keeping open the liberty of the petitioner to file an appeal as against the impugned order, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
