ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to transfer the proceedings pertaining to the cancellation of patta of the petitioner bearing number 18176 pending on the file of the second respondent dated 20.02.2023 in Na.Ka.No.A2/622/2023 to the file of any other Revenue Divisional Officer in the District of Chennai. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Though the present writ petition is of the year 2023, the petitioner has not taken any steps to prosecute the case. Hence, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending.

3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
