ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 03.07.2024 to provide electricity connection to the petitioner borewell situated in Survey No.545/1B2, Vankaranpudhur, Navani Panchayath, Kalangani Village, Namakkal District forthwith.
2. Mr.S.Kalaiselvan, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The case of the petitioner is that, he was in possession and enjoyment of above said property and he made an application on 26.10.2017 to the 4th respondent for electricity service connection to the well situated in Survey No.545/1B2 under tatkal scheme by paying the necessary fee of Rs.2,75,000/- and the respondents received the application and assigned the registration No.2121017322 for new borewell with capacity of 7.5 H.P., however, no electricity power supply was provided till date. The 3rd respondent vide Letter Ka.No.Su.Pa/E&P/Na/Tha.Nu.U.11/Ka.V.Tatkal/No.105/2023 dated 30.01.2024 informed that electricity connection will be provided in 30 days and the petitioner is permitted to utilize the said connection after 3 days from the date of the electricity connection provided to the petitioner borewell.
Though the works have been completed, however, the respondents have not come forward to provide the electricity service connection, thereby the petitioner had made a representation dated 03.07.2024 to the respondents to provide electricity connection to his agricultural land, for which, the 3rd respondent by letter Ka.No.Vu.Su.Pa./E&P/Pu.Santhai/Ko.Pugar Manu/AN:019/204 dated Page No.
24.07.2024 informed that to provide electricity connection all the electrical works have been completed and ready to provide electricity connection and a detailed report of the 2nd respondent is required and on basis of queue priority and allocation of target for the year 2024-2025 from the head office the electricity connection will be provided. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this court for appropriate orders.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2024 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this court.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a Page No.4 of 6
copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
