Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No.12699 of 2024 in Crl OP No.22264 of 2024 Dr.G. JAYACHANDRAN, J.

The petition is filed to withdraw the look out notice and as an interim relief, the Criminal MP No. 12699 of 2024 has been filed seeking permission to travel Abroad to visit the petitioner's daughter studying in United Kingdom and to return back.

2. The said permission is sought for a period of one month from 23.09.2024 to 23.10.2024, the travel itinerary also furnished in the affidavit filed along with the miscellaneous petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that investigation in this case almost completed and final report likely to be filed soon and the presence of the petitioner is required when the final report is filed and at the time of commence of the trial. Page No.1/3

Taking note of the fact that the miscellaneous petition is for travel abroad for a period of one month and the reasons stated appears to be genuine and the travel itinerary of the petitioner is disclosed in the affidavit along with her place of stay in Scotland. Taking note of the fact disclosed in the affidavit and the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the Department, the miscellaneous petition seeking permission to travel abroad for the period of 30 days is allowed, on condition, the petitioner shall intimate her travel details to the I.O. before leaving the country and as soon as she lands at London, she should inform her place of stay to the Indian Embassy at London. On her return to India on 23.10.2024, she should immediately inform her return to the I.O. and cooperate with the completion of the investigation.
